Took a walk along the local mountain stream with a coffee in hand—partly to scout a fishing spot, partly to enjoy the wild cherry blossoms.
I’d hit a wall with the reservation system I’m working on, so it was also a much-needed break.
I’ve always looked forward to seeing this particular cherry tree every year, but it looks like it might have fallen… maybe this was its last bloom?
Still, seeing it blossom one more time, I couldn’t help but feel a touch of that fleeting beauty people talk about—y’know, mono no aware and all that… or something like that 🤣
Funny how coffee tastes way better in places like this. No idea why, but it just does! 😄
Oh, and I spotted some signs that something had passed through here…
Also found some tracks… looks like something’s been using this path—probably not just hikers! 😅
